Food waste is one of the biggest challenges in the catering industry, and we’re tackling it head-on. Through meticulous planning, intelligent batch preparation, and improved waste-management systems, we work to significantly minimise what ends up in landfill.
We’re also committed to reducing packaging waste. All future packaging will be recyclable or compostable as we phase out single-use plastics across our operations. From kitchen prep to event service, every step is designed with sustainability in mind.
Our environmental commitments extend beyond the kitchen. To lower our carbon footprint, we are transitioning our vehicle fleet to electric, with 20% already fully electric and plans to reach 90% by 2027. We replace each diesel van with an electric model as it reaches five years old, ensuring consistent, meaningful progress.
Additionally, we are investing in renewable energy. Our new solar panel system will generate a significant proportion of our electricity, saving an estimated 55,260kg of carbon each year, and over 1,025,000kg over the system’s lifespan.
